What is going on in the world?
A company in Switzerland just released a product called "Hot Shot", which is a line of extra small condoms... ie Condoms for children. The government conducted a series of studies showing that 12-14 year olds were having (unprotected) sex.
Now, in my mind... the main problem here is that 12-14 year olds are having sex!!! But, apparently in Switzerland and according to their government, the major issue facing these children are that they don't have condoms that 'fit' properly! Seriously, something is completely wrong with this whole scenario.
In my opinion, we should be looking at these studies and working to treat the CAUSE, instead of the EFFECT. The question we should be asking is why are so many children becoming sexually active at an increasingly younger age? Instead, they are looking at the effect which is children becoming pregnant, getting STD's, etc.
There is something seriously wrong with this scenario.

This is so sad and deplorable that children are not only being exposed to sex at such young ages, but then being treated as adults and the government wants to give them 'protection'?!
It is horrifying, Monica! It is more important than ever for Parents to keep an eye on what is going on in schools and what is going on in their children's lives. And also to confront the government with any of these things that are coming to the forefront.
