Hello Dear Readers,
Just a quick note to let you know that I my posts are going to be few and far between for the next few weeks, but I will do my best to post some interesting things on here nonetheless.
I am in the process of finishing my Master's degree classes and thus I am spending all of my time finishing projects, papers, preparing for presentations, and studying for exams.
Thank you for your patience, for your friendship, and for your continued readership.

Most Americans are *still* Against Healthcare?
Apparently Obama and Congress we not listening to the American people when they passed the Healthcare Reform Bill.
According to a recent poll conducted by CBS (surprisingly, as CBS rarely seems honest in their reporting and are often quite left-leaning), the majority of Americans are against the recent Healthcare Reform Bill that was passed through Congress.
In reading this poll and other reports that have been oozing out, I am still trying to figure out why it passed. If the majority of Americans were against this bill, why was Washington not listening? Oh that's right, apparently they can do whatever they want, since we were the ones who elected them. Hmm... Remember this in November, folks.
I don't think I'm alone when I say that the majority of America DOES in fact, want Healthcare for all. Seriously, who would try and stop all Americans from being covered by Healthcare. I want America to be a happy and healthy place for all. But, the problems that I have with *this* particular bill, extensively outnumber any positives that I can see coming out of this bill.
What do you think? Where do you fall in the poll that CBS released?

Now, 53% of Americans say they disapprove of the new reforms,
including 39% who say they disapprove strongly. On the eve of passage
of the historic bill in Congress, 37% said they approved and 48%
disapproved.

Republicans and independents remain opposed to the reforms, and
support has dropped some among Democrats. Now 52% of Democrats
approve of the new reforms, a drop from 60% just before the bill was
passed by Congress.
Less than one in five Americans thinks the new health care reforms
will help them personally – unchanged since before the vote in
Congress. 36% think the new reforms will hurt them, while 39% think
they will have little effect.

ObamaCare: Yea or Nay???
I saw this video ages ago and the information provided has stayed with me ever since. It is a hilarious adventure, that analyzes exactly what is going on with regards to socialized medicine... a.k.a. ObamaCare.
It is worth every minute! If for nothing else, it will offer you a few laughs and if you're lucky, it might even offer further insight into why so many Americans are against ObamaCare.
Watch it and let me know what you think???
Are you still Pro-ObamaCare?

Is the Tea Party Movement Promoting Freedom or are they Racist Rallies?
Megyn Kelly and Alan Colmes enter into a lively discussion regarding racism, the tea parties, and Obama. This is a great recent debate... Enjoy!
My favorite quote: "To call someone a racist is about the worst thing you could do in this Country." - Megyn Kelly
After everything that our Country has been through with regards to racism and cultural-ism, I take great issue and offense when someone claims that someone expressing their opinion on true issues is a racist. Why is it that it seems to be ok to 'bash' everyone else, but if anyone makes a negative comment about Obama or his administration, that person is called a 'racist'?

Which is Worse: Hate Speech Towards Obama or Bush???
"The Tea Party movement is a racist and fascist movement!"
This is a comment that someone made to me recently, but this is nothing new, as it seems that these sort of comments seem to be running rampant through the media circuit and thus the world population. My question is, when did this negative commentary begin... and ultimately, when will it end? Why can't we focus our time on debating the issues rather than 'name calling' and pointing fingers.

Which is worse??? You decide.
